Crew clothing started in 1993, and today their coastal roots and British heritage still remain core to the brand.
Crew Clothing was established by Alistair Parker-Swift. As a member of the England freestyle ski team, he spent winter months during the 90s skiing in France. During the summer, he ran a windsurfing school in Salcombe, Devon. In 1993, he began to create some rugby shirts, sourcing materials from a local supplier. His attention turned to the Cowes Week on the Isle of Wight, selling more clothing there, and opening a shop in Cowes. Crew Clothing as a brand was born, selling luxury casualwear for men and women.
This brand of Great British Clothing is synonymous with a relaxed lifestyle, with a nautical, coastal character. It exudes understated confidence.
Superb quality, high attention to detail and timeless styles are what Crew Clothing is all about. They are passionate about using only the finest fabrics and they have a perfectionist's outlook to every new design they bring out.
