Crew Clothing was established by Alistair Parker-Swift. As a member of the England freestyle ski team, he spent winter months during the 90s skiing in France. During the summer, he ran a windsurfing school in Salcombe, Devon. In 1993, he began to create some rugby shirts, sourcing materials from a local supplier. His attention turned to the Cowes Week on the Isle of Wight, selling more clothing there, and opening a shop in Cowes. Crew Clothing as a brand was born, selling luxury casualwear for men and women.
