Point of Sale Systems

The Rainbows End website is fed by a state of the art EPoS Software system created by Intelligent Retail. This point of sale system has an integrated stock control system so that when stock is sold via the website, shop till or any other online channel the stock is decremented from the stock tree - no more duplication of sales on products so retailers always know how much stock they carry, the item isn't 'sold twice' and the retailer always knows how much stock they are carrying.

The fact that the stock control system is fully integrated into the shop till means that advanced reporting can be done - a failing of lesser point of sale systems. This means that a retailer can truly plan ahead, dumping the stock which doesn't sell well and stocking up on that which does - a real boost to turnover and a great way to increase return on investment on that expensive stock!

Of course the point of sale system is just part of the package which makes up a multichannel point of sale system. This ecommerce website is controlled by the EPos system, so all of the sales come back to the shop till and the shop till back office interface controls which products appear on the website. The Intelligent Retail point of sale system also feeds into many other online channels such as Ebay, Amazon (currently in testing 03/05/2011) and Google Products, so sales can come back to the system from many channels.
